Family Caregiver Support Program Kathy Bullis, Program Director Marilyn Suire, Case Manager Gail Babers, Data Entry Specialist/ Case Manager Assistant Helping You Find All of the Pieces.    If you answer yes to any of these questions, you are a caregiver! ·        Do you run errands for an elder? ·        Do you set up doctors appointments and/or provide transportation to appointments? ·        Do you provide assistance with 3 or more activities of daily living? ·        Do you assist with meals for an elder?   Well over 14.4 million people across the United States provide some level of care without charge to the elderly within their families and communities.  This number is rapidly increasing with the graying of the baby boomer generation.  For the first time there are more people over sixty in this country than there are teenagers.  So, understandably, the needs of caregivers are becoming more urgent.  This program will help meet caregiver needs by providing five types of service.   What does the Family Caregiver Support Program provide? ·        Education and training of family caregivers ·        Limited supplies to help keep your elderly loved one at home ·        Limited respite care to relieve the caregiver, both in home and in adult daycare programs ·        Information and assistance about obtaining resources ·        Help to organize caregiver support groups   Adult Daycare Programs Available Through the Family Caregiver Program Day Care St. Elizabeth's Adult Day Care Center 573-883-7603 675 Market Ste.
